High speed Satellite Internet

WildBlue High Speed Satellite Internet

W

hat is the cost of high speed satellite internet?

If you are looking for reasonably priced High-speed Internet product, look no futher. WildBlue satellite Internet is a low cost high performance satellite Internet service. Two distinct aspects of WildBlue are responsible for its lower cost and its lower monthly service costs. The use of Industry standard equipment and lower operating costs. Couple these together and they form the basis for a high speed satellite Intenet that is available to rural America. High Speed Internet by satellite does not require stringent computer specifications . WildBlue is providing a benchmark which is setting the competition at a lower cost and it is a alternative that gives you a Broadband like connection , even in rural areas.

W

hat do you use your Internet for?

Someone once asked, "what do you use your Internet connection for"? The short reply was, "Windows updates, what else?" Not everyone is overly concerned with Windows updates but they are for music, video and the ol' standard - Email. High speed Satelite Internet by WildBlue is designed for that purpose. It just so happens that WildBlue Internet does it for less than other satellite providers and offers ample bandwidth to do such things as download video, music and it browses faster than most dialup connections. Yes, you (to) can run Windows Update without interruption. To put that into perspective, a Windows Update from Service Pack 1 to Service Pack 2 is well over 200 megabytes. With dialup connection, it would never complete. With other satellite providers, you could not even finish the updates before your bandwidth was restricted. But with WildBlue, Windows updates are a snap! Did we forget to mention, that is fast as well!

W

hat is the Fair Access Policy?

It is called a Fair Access Policy and all satellite providers like WildBlue Internet have one, only theirs is reasonable and makes sense. Ok, so it may not make sense to you but in a nutshell it says - If you are a 'normal' Internet user, browsing the Internet and occasionally downloading a video clip or music, you should have no problems. If you are a teleworker that works from home or runs your own Internet web business from home, you more than likely will have no problems.

W

hat about playing online games?

If you are a gamer that plays all the latest shoot and kill games (titch games) this is NOT the product for you. If you cannot live without downloading all your favorite music every day and trying to run a music server (P2P, Bittorrent or other), this product is NOT for you. If you fit into these last 2 catagories, it does not mean that you are not normal only those actions will utilize too much bnadwidth over time.

W

arranty?

WildBlue Internet has a 2 year warranty on all parts but does incur a service fee based on current rates after the first 90 days.

W

hat about the installation? Do I have to pay for it?

Most WildBlue Internet customers are happy to find out that they can qualify for a standard professional installation and the cost for that is usually less than $100.00 or free in many cases. But the promotions do change from time to time and the overall pricing is different depending on the current promotion.

W

hat about security?

If you are an AOL user or at the other end of the spectrum and found out your provider did not filter your content, you can rest easy with WildBlue. Wildblue provides a antivirus and antispam and spyware program from F-Secure that is provided with your purchase. The nice thing about F-Secure is that it only costs about $30 per year to renew. Now that is something we can all get used to. A safe, secure and trouble free Internet connection from WildBlue is what we have all been looking for. We just did not expect to have all this in the rural area.

W

hat about the overall costs?

When you start looking for other alternatives in the rural area, you will find that WildBlue Internet costs less and is less per month than its closest competitor. All of this wrapped up into a high-speed satellite Internet connection that you can afford.

ildBlue Satellite Internet Service Plans

WildBlue comes in three different versions. Fast, faster, and 'hang onto your hat' downloading. Find out more about WildBlue Internet plans.

W

hat are you waiting for?

Lets face it. If you come this far, you probably desire or need a High speed connection. WildBlue is a solution to that problem. There are other satellite Internet providers, but many are reselling other services with their own brand name. Paying more for satellite Internet through someone else is not necessary and does not mean that you will have a faster service. Remember, at the end of the day, it is satellite Internet. If you are looking for a product that has a lower monthly service plan and costs less, check out the current promotion at WildBlue Satellite Internet products .
