Ka Band broadband satellite internet marks the spot Wildblue High speed satellite internet hits the ground running. Based on a different technology than traditional offerings of satellite, Wildblue satellite Internet was introduced in June 2006 and has made its present known. Utilizing industry standard components from such companies as ViaSat and Raven Communications, Wildblue focus is on utilizing available bandwidth to the benefit of the customer. The results have been impressive. With 20,000 users (December 2006) Quality of Service has been maintained. Currently Wildblue is adding 10,000 new customers per month. Their generous amount of bandwidth on different service plans is proving to be more than adequate for even the more demanding customer.

Wildblue limited warranty does pose a little risk to the customer, but the utilization of standard components and a quality installation minimizes those limitations. Currently Wildblue offers a 1 year warranty on equipment with the only exception being the outdoor TRIA assembly which has an installation warranty of 90 days. To the consumer this means that if something happens to the equipment, Wildblue can usually overnite the part to the customer and have them back "on-line" with little down time.
