If Your Satellite Internet Signal is Obstructed

We’ve found that most subscribers will have access to these speeds from our new satellite. However a small portion (about 3%) may find that obstacles block the satellite signal to the satellite dish.

For these subscribers, HughesNet can bounce their signal to another satellite. This will mean slightly slower download and upload speeds. Call GTEC for more information if you’re in this situation.

(Note: Actual upload speed may be lower during peak hours. Excessive download patterns and usage many also result in temporarily reduced speeds.)
