When you get WildBlue as your satellite internet service provider, the following equipment will be installed at your home or business:

• WildBlue Satellite Modem- Your computer will be hooked to the modem. This is the beginning of getting connected to the WildBlue Network. Via a cable, the low cost modem is then attached to the satellite dish.
• WildBlue Minidish - The minidish (28″ by 26″) sends signals from your computer to the satellite. It receives transmissions from the satellite sending them back to your computer. The dish gets installed on your roof, wall or on a pole in the ground.

Installation of this equipment takes 2 to 3 hours.
